- What time is check in/check out?
Check in time is 4pm. Check out time is 10am
- What is included in the rate?
Linens, bath towels, fully furnished kitchens, in room washer and dryer, private gear storage, parking, cable tv, high-speed wireless internet, kite launching & landing at REAL’s private kite launch site, access to the REAL Rental Shop, Lesson Center and Flagship Store, and on-site restaurant and bar.

- What payment methods do you accept?
Charges for Watermen’s Retreat and Watermen’s Hideout will be processed by Flying R Inc. We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express and Discover.
- When do you charge for the booking?
Reservations made at least 30 days in advance are held for a 10 day grace period without charge. Clients may change, upgrade or cancel within these 10 days without penalty. On the 10th day the reservation will be charged in full using the credit card provided at booking. Reservations made for dates within 30 days are charged at the time the reservation is made.
- Travel Insurance
Standard Travel Insurance is included unless otherwise requested.
This insurance will protect a travel investment against unexpected events such as illness, injury or death to someone in the traveling party or a family member of anyone in the traveling party, Hurricanes & natural disasters, job termination etc. This insurance will cover 100% of the prepaid, non-refundable payments.
Insurance policies must be obtained at the time of booking.
- Do you charge tax on bookings?
12.75% tax is applied to all reservations. Rates and minimum night requirements are subject to change.
- What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation Policy 14 days or more before arrival: Clients that wish to cancel or reschedule their reservation (after billing has occurred) 14 days or more before their arrival date may do so by emailing email@example.com. Paid funds will be transferred as a credit to a new trip, less a $200 reschedule fee. The subsequent trip must be booked and completed within the calendar year or all monies will be forfeited. In the event the reservation is changed to a different rate period, the higher rate will apply. Only one change request will be honored per reservation.
Cancellation Policy less than 14 days before arrival: Cancellations less than 14 days before arrival will forfeit all monies on account.
Cancellation Policy after arrival: A credit or refund will not be issued if a client wishes to shorten their stay once they are checked in Watermen’s Retreat or Watermen’s Hideout.
- What is your pet policy?
Pets are permitted in our all of our Cottages and Cabanas with a pet fee of $150. Pets are not permitted in any of our suites or penthouses.
